Which development methods and tools can help us attain an optimal design? And how can we work around certain boundary conditions concerning producibility? These and other questions revolving the topics Developments in Design and Additive Manufacturing have been answered during the latest ‘Kennismeeting’ at the Brightlands campus, organised by Limburgse Design Associatie.
We have been a member of this design association for quite a while now. At the latest session, David de Vries presented on behalf of Code about the use of Altair Optistruct, topology optimisations and about the way a CAE-driven design in combination with material and processing knowledge adds value in the development of a product. We thank the organisation for facilitating the meeting and the other participants for the interesting conversations we’ve had. We’re looking forward to the next Kennismeeting!
Are you interested in knowing more about concept design for plastic parts? On 19 March, Code Product Solutions and Altair are hosting a webinar about this topic. For more information and to register, click here.
